Before getting a direct solution, I want you to know the reasons behind black spots and where they come from so that you can easily close them.

Manganese is the most common mineral that existents in water. However, exceeding the limit can appear as black spots over the sink, under the toilet rim, bathtub, toilet bowl below the water line, or at the waterline.

Molds are so annoying and grow mostly in moist, filthy places. Mold generally grows usually in the toilet that is not used often, humid, and dam bathroom.

They do not form as stains, Molds look like little black round, shaped spots under the bowl, the rim. 

Molds also appear in blue color stains.

Molds are grown rapidly, so you can notice the black stains in the toilet may spread large and quickly. Mildew or Molds are dangerous, can cause an allergic reaction.

It is important to know, which is the main cause of your toilet getting stains, both treatments are different, and molds are coming back again and again if you don’t treat them well.

Observe the stains very well. Molds have spores, so they grow rapidly, and the affected area becomes larger within a few days.

Another sign of mold is- that if you treat mold, it comes back again in a week at a double rate.

Because the molds can easily be erased after one wash but can return.

Manganese spots, on the other hand, do not disappear in one wash or after any treatment. If, the stains remain or fade slightly. Also, not come back in a week. It is guaranteed due to the mineral deposits.

How To Clean Black Spots In Toilet Bowl

After identifying the source, let’s begin to erase the black spots from the toilet.

  • Put respirator
  • Wear heavy-duty gloves and goggles to protect skin and eyes.
  • Keep away children, pets, any pregnant lady.

Option 1- How to Remove Manganese Stains From Toilet- USE CREAM MIXTURE OF TARTER & HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

Hydrogen Peroxide and Tartar are very effectively remove Manganese stains from the toilet, toilet bowl, toilet tank.

You Need the Ingredients

Process

Step1- Put the gloves on and make a thick paste of Tartar cream and Hydrogen Peroxide.

Take about one cup of cream Tartar and a quarter cup of Hydrogen peroxide. Mix two ingredients together in a bowl and make a thick paste.

Step2– Apply the thick paste all over the affected areas, which means Manganese specks. Or take a tissue and cover the whole stuff.

Then allow sitting for 15 to 20 mins. 

Step3- After 20 minutes, take off the tissues and gently scrub all over the bowl with a toilet brush.

Step4- Again rest it, like as it is for more than 5 minutes, again brush off.

Step5- Pour Hot water and rinse thoroughly. Flush normally for 2 times. Hot water can remove extra stains and clog.

If it works and remains stains, repeat the process once more. Now you’ll see the sparkle white toilet.

Option2- Get Rid of The Manganese Spots USING OF TRISODIUM PHOSPHATE

Trisodium Phosphate is easily available online, like on Amazon. It also gives effective results on Manganese Black spots.

Trisodium Phosphate is not harmful to the septic tank.

Step1- Take one gallon of water, add 4 tablespoons of Trisodium Phosphate, it available in both liquid and powder forms.

You may use whatever you’ll find. Make the solution.

Step2- Pour very slowly into the toilet bowl. So the water does not flush away.

If you pour the Trisodium Phosphate and water mixture very slowly, the mixture remains in the bowl.

Step3- Rest this mixture for 20 minutes, until then. Avoid using the toilet.

Step4– Gently brush before flushing. Then flush normally. 

Trisodium Phosphate breakdown the lump stains create on the toilet wall. 

Flush twice or three times. Hence no trisodium residue will remain.

Option3- Black Spots Caused by Molds – Remove By STEAM CLEANING 

Step 1: Bring out your cordless vapor steamer and attach the angular nose.

Step 2: Turn on the high-pressure steam cleaner.

Step3: Keep flying the nozzle over the impacted areas.

Step 4: Replace the water with vinegar and spray over the areas.

Step 5: The debris and mold will come out this manner. Continue the procedure until the molds are exposed.

Step 6: Wipe away the excess with an old rag or a dry cloth.

Option4- Remove Black Molds from Toilet Using Vinegar+ Baking Soda+ Chlorine Bleach Treatment

Vinegar and Baking soda magically exclude Molds stains, either black or white. And Chlorine treatment for killing the spores and preventing further growth of Mildew and Molds.

All items you need for this-

  • Gloves
  • Mask
  • Toilet brush
  • Bleach
  • Baking Soda/ Borax
  • Vinegar in a Spray Bottle

Process

Step1- Clean with a Normal Toilet Cleaner

Put on the protective gloves. Allow the air to circulate by opening all windows. Before beginning the primary procedure, turn off the water supply line and flush once.

Allow the toilet cleaner to run down the drain.

Step2- Baking soda and Vinegar Treatment

Pour a cup of Baking soda or Borax well over the toilet cleaner and distribute it all the way down to the waterline, under the rim.

Using a spray bottle, splash vinegar over the baking soda or Borax.

Allow 30 minutes to an hour for the action to reduce the molds for as full as possible.

Following an hour, carefully scrub the entire surface with a non-corrosive brush.

Leave it for the next 15 to 20 minutes. Turn on the water supply or obtain a bucket of hot tap water and pour it immediately into this.

Step3- Ultimate Step Chloride Bleach Treatment

Take one cup of Bleach and dilute it within 1 gallon of water. Pour all over the bowl, tank, and refill the tank.

Flush continue 2 to 3 times so, no blech remains after that.

Generally, Bleach is not reliable for toilet seals and flappers. Why is a dilution of bleach necessary before using the toilet?
